Subscription Policy
Effective date: 4 September 2026
1. Scope
This Subscription Policy explains the terms on which paid features of the mobile application "Tinsy" are offered by Ringostat LTD, a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Seychelles with a company registration number 177057. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service and must be read together with them and with our Privacy Policy. It applies to the auto-renewable subscription and other in-app purchases made in the App through the Apple App Store.
Tinsy is a self-tracking and wellness tool. Neither the free nor the paid version provides medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions or dosing recommendations, and no subscription gives access to consultations with healthcare professionals. The disclaimers in the Terms of Service apply to all paid features.
2. Free and paid functionality
The App is free to download and offers a set of basic features without payment. Additional features are available under a single auto-renewable subscription tier, which unlocks all paid features described in the App interface (currently including body weight and measurements tracking, protein/water/fibre tracking, side-effect logging and cycle tracking). A free trial of the paid subscription is offered. We may change the composition of free and paid features as described in Section 13 below. Availability of the plan, trial and promotional prices may differ between App Store storefronts and may change over time.
3. Plans, price and duration
The subscription plan currently offered, its duration and its price are available for review within the App interface.
The price and duration applicable to you, the currency, the length of any introductory or trial period and the price payable after that period always appear on the purchase screen in the App immediately before you confirm the purchase, and they are the terms that govern your purchase. Prices are set for the App Store storefront associated with your Apple Account and include value added tax, sales tax or any equivalent tax where these are payable and collected by Apple. Currency conversion, foreign transaction fees or other charges applied by your bank or payment provider are not part of the price and are not controlled by us.
4. How purchases are made and who is your counterparty for payment
All payments are processed exclusively through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple acts as the merchant of record and processes the transaction using the payment method associated with your Apple Account, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/.
We never receive, see or store your card number, bank details or billing address. We receive from Apple only the information necessary to unlock and maintain your entitlement, as described in our Privacy Policy, namely the product identifier, the transaction identifier and the status and expiry of the subscription. Your purchase is confirmed by Apple, and the receipt and billing history are available in your Apple Account.
5. Free trials and introductory offers
Where a free trial or a discounted introductory offer is available, its duration and conditions are disclosed on the purchase screen. Eligibility for trials and introductory offers is determined by Apple and is normally limited to one per subscription group per Apple Account or Family Sharing group.
Unless you cancel at least twenty-four hours before the end of the free trial or introductory period, the subscription converts automatically into a paid subscription at the standard price of the selected plan, and the payment method associated with your Apple Account will be charged. If you cancel during a free trial, you retain access to the paid features until the end of the trial period, unless Apple terminates access earlier. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a paid subscription before the trial ends.
6. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically. Your subscription renews for successive periods of the same length as the one you selected, and the payment method associated with your Apple Account is charged the then-current price of that plan, unless you cancel at least twenty-four hours before the end of the current period. Apple attempts to charge the renewal within twenty-four hours before the end of the current period. By completing the purchase you authorise these recurring charges, and that authorisation remains valid until you cancel. If a renewal payment fails, Apple may retry the charge, may place the subscription in a billing retry or grace period, and access to paid features may be suspended or terminated; where Apple applies a grace period, access is maintained for its duration.
7. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Cancellation is managed by Apple, not by us, and we cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf. To cancel, open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select "Tinsy" and tap Cancel Subscription. Alternatively, open the App Store, tap your account icon, tap Subscriptions and proceed in the same way. Detailed instructions are available at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039. Cancellation must be completed at least twenty-four hours before the end of the current period in order to avoid being charged for the next one.
Deleting the App from your device or simply ceasing to use the App does not cancel your subscription and does not stop future charges. You must cancel it through your Apple Account settings.
After cancellation you keep access to the paid features until the end of the period already paid for, after which the App reverts to its free functionality. Your data remains available in the App subject to any feature limitations of the free version and to the Privacy Policy, and you may delete it at any time in the App.
8. Refunds
Because Apple is the merchant of record, all refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's applicable refund practice. We are not able to issue, process or guarantee refunds for purchases made through the App Store. To request a refund, submit a request at https://reportaproblem.apple.com, or use the Report a Problem function in your purchase history, and follow Apple's instructions; Apple decides at its discretion, subject to applicable mandatory consumer law. Partial periods are not refunded by us, and amounts already charged for a current period are not refunded on cancellation, except where a refund is granted by Apple or is required by mandatory law.
Nothing in this Section limits your mandatory statutory rights, including the right of consumers in the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom to remedies where digital content or a digital service does not conform with the contract, the rights of consumers in other jurisdictions under applicable consumer protection law, and the rights of residents of jurisdictions with specific automatic renewal statutes.
9. Right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you generally have a period of fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content or digital services without giving a reason. Where the contract is for the supply of digital content, that right is lost once supply has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal; by starting to use the paid features immediately after purchase, you give that consent and acknowledgement. Where the right of withdrawal applies, it is exercised through Apple as the seller of record, using the procedure at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
10. Price changes
We may change subscription prices and the composition of plans. A price increase affecting an existing subscription does not take effect before the next renewal, and we or Apple will notify you in advance in accordance with Apple's rules. Depending on the size of the increase and on the requirements of your jurisdiction, Apple will either request your express consent to the new price, in which case the subscription will not renew unless you consent, or notify you of the increase so that you may cancel before it takes effect. You may always cancel your subscription as described in Section 7 before the new price applies. Reductions in price and promotional prices apply only for the period indicated in the offer.
11. Multiple devices, restoring purchases and Family Sharing
Your subscription is linked to the Apple Account used for the purchase and is available on all devices signed in with that Apple Account. If you reinstall the App or change device, use the "Restore Purchases" function in the App to re-establish your entitlement. Where a subscription is marked as shareable through Apple's Family Sharing, it may be used by the members of your family group under the conditions determined by Apple. Where it is not, sharing is not available. You must not share a subscription entitlement outside the Apple Family Sharing arrangements that Apple makes available for the relevant subscription.
12. Promotional and offer codes
Where we issue offer codes, promotional codes or subscription offers, they may be redeemed only through the App Store, only within the validity period stated in the offer, only once per Apple Account unless stated otherwise, and only in the storefronts for which they were issued. Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be combined unless expressly permitted, and may be invalidated where they have been obtained or used in breach of these terms or unlawfully.
13. Changes to paid features
We may add, modify or discontinue individual paid features in order to develop and maintain the App, to comply with law or with platform requirements, or to respond to technical necessity. We will not materially reduce the core functionality for which you have paid during a period already paid for without giving you advance notice, and where such a reduction occurs and applicable consumer law so provides, you may terminate the subscription and seek a proportionate refund in accordance with Section 8 and with that law. Discontinuation of a plan for new purchases does not affect subscriptions already in force until their next renewal.
14. Suspension and termination of paid access
We may suspend or terminate access to paid features where payment is not received or is reversed, where you breach the Terms of Service where required by law, by a competent authority or by Apple, or where continued provision of the Service to you would breach sanctions or export control rules as described in the Terms of Service. Where the applicable law requires it, we will refund amounts corresponding to the unused part of the period concerned. If we discontinue the App altogether, we will stop offering new subscriptions, allow existing subscriptions to run to the end of their current period or arrange refunds through Apple where required, and give you reasonable prior notice so that you may retain your locally stored data before the App becomes unavailable.
15. Contact
For questions about a subscription, an offer or a payment, contact us at support@tinsy.app. Please include the Apple Account email used for the purchase and, where available, the Apple transaction identifier, so that we can assist you.
For billing, refunds and cancellation Apple remains the competent counterparty, and requests of that kind should be submitted through https://reportaproblem.apple.com or through your Apple Account settings.
